Brewing from such a story as rich as the multitude of sounds, Afternoon In The Park has spewed forth their newest single, "Masterplan," a razor-sharp, poetic joyride that grabs indie rock by the collar and kicks it in the face. With a line-up of old souls, Yamin Alma on voice and guitar, Ari on guitar, Julien on drums and programming, and Thomas on bass, this is a band that, through fire and sheer talent, has a raw edge that feels anything but an accident.
"Masterplan" is urgent and deliberate, invoking the taut, melodic DNA of early-Aughts icons like the Strokes and the Arctic Monkeys.
