Brooklyn-based hard rockers King Falcon unleash a thunderclap with their latest release, "Plastic Crown," a brash, alluring scream that drips with truth & musical strength. This is a liberation anthem in the guise of a rock scream. Frontman Michael Rubin, along with Joe Conserva (bass), Sergio Ripa (guitar), and Dipayan "Dip" Chakraborty (drums), brings the heat with cutting vocals and galloping guitars. From the song's opening riff, "Plastic Crown" is powered by amps and attitude and inspired by personal truth.
Rubin said the song is an ode to a toxic relationship that, following an end, brought a sense of clarity that was difficult to pinpoint while in the midst of it. That revelation, along with the close musical chemistry between the members of this new lineup, forms the backbone of a song that seems both defiant and refreshing. Written in the practice space and molded by each member's unique input, "Plastic Crown" is not just the first chapter for this new lineup but a sign of things to come.
The corresponding music video is a sheer display of exuberance. It takes place in an animated universe that warps and wobbles all around the band as they play, beautifully capturing the chaos and freedom of cutting ties with the wrong people and reclaiming your voice in the process. The video builds on King Falcon's loud, happy, and unapologetic identity. "Plastic Crown" is already starting to make a splash where it matters, playlisted on key lists at Spotify (Just Rock!, Apple Music (Breaking Rock), Amazon Music (Breakthrough Rock), and Deezer (Soundcheck) further confirming that King Falcon has a message that is well and truly being heard.
With tour dates scheduled through October, including headlining shows and high-energy live sets with The Struts in Toronto and Boston, as well as with Saving Abel this fall, King Falcon is boldly launching itself into the next exciting chapter. "Plastic Crown" is the sound of a band making their mark, guitars roaring, hearts wide open, plastic crowns trampled into the dust.

real rock and roll is back!
