Now at 39 years old, Lohan lives in Dubai with her husband, Bader Shammas, and their young son, Luai.
After more than ten years in Dubai, she recently spoke on Live With Kelly and Mark about the surprising reasons for her move and why she has no regrets. "It's just far away from Hollywood, and I live a very normal life," Lindsay explained. She appreciates that she doesn't have to worry about being followed by cameras or someone taking pictures of her son. "I feel very safe," she added. "It's not legal," she noted. "You can't take a picture of someone else if you're in a restaurant. You have to ask the person, which is a big difference from here." Having faced intense public attention during her early career, Lindsay now stresses the importance of privacy, especially as a mother. "Privacy is key," she said, a feeling likely shared by many celebrities with families.
Even though she's far from Hollywood, Lindsay still experiences the fun and challenges of being a parent. She humorously shared that her toddler, Luai, already knows how to tease her in the cute ways only little kids can.
