Nick Nolte Makes Public Appearance At Nobu Malibu With Sean Penn And Josh Brolin

Nick Nolte, 84, made a surprise public appearance in Malibu, where he was seen dining out with old costars Sean Penn and Josh Brolin. Celebrity eatery Nobu Malibu was the scene of the star-studded dinner on July 16, with the three friends enjoying a night out together. Nolte, who's most famous for starring in The Prince of Tides, looked disheveled in his overgrown grey locks and scraggly white beard.

He dressed in a casual mint green button-down shirt with a few buttons undone for a relaxed feel, paired with black trousers and sneakers. In a shooter jacket and faded jeans, at 84, Nolte's style reflected his classic, cool, "I still got it" persona. Nolte's lifelong buddies, actor Sean Penn and Josh Brolin, were also at his side. Penn, 64, wore an army green jacket over a navy T-shirt, which he paired with cargo pants, while Brolin, 57, was more casual in a beige T-shirt and blue jeans. Their grooked emce formula bombs apart, as these industry veterans clearly have a lot of history together.

The gang initially worked together in 2013 on Gangster Squad, where Nolte and Penn were also reunited, following their previous collaborations on U Turn (1997) and The Thin Red Line (1998). Meanwhile, Brolin and Penn have appeared in the same film in the past, Nightwatch (1997). Despite the years that have passed since they were friends and costars, they instantly caught up over dinner and bonded over memories of their iconic characters and cherished moments from previous projects.

Nolte's infrequent presence generated excitement among his fans, accustomed to seeing him off-camera or in less publicized circumstances. His appearance opposite Penn and Brolin is a testament to the old-school camaraderie between legends who continue to shape the entertainment landscape today.
