Investigators have discovered a DNA match to blood left at the scene and are working to connect Decker to the scene, according to a statement from the Chelan County Sheriff's Office, which further identifies Decker as the sole suspect in the case.
The hunt was launched after the limp bodies of Paity, Evelyn, and Olivia were found in a pickup truck parked near Rock Island Campground in Leavenworth, Washington, on June 2. The car, registered to Decker, became the immediate focus of the investigation. Officials announced in a news release that several personal items found at the scene had been the break they were looking for.

"Detectives originally recovered some individual, personal items, from the scene they believed belong to Mr. Decker," the statement read. "The lab took DNA samples from those items and found they matched the DNA in the blood samples recovered at the scene."

The DNA can't be anyone else, so Decker is the only one who killed the three and is likely involved in the missing person's case.
