Lil Wayne Puleld Out Of Toronto Concert After Sudden Illness

Countless Lil Wayne fans at Budweiser Stage on Saturday walked away from this weekend's eagerly anticipated Toronto show feeling both burned and concerned after it was abruptly cut short. Hours before he was set to take the stage in Philadelphia on his Tha Carter VI tour, the rap legend delayed his performance due to an "unexpected illness."

Budweiser Stage on X issued the notice directly: "Due to unforeseen illness, Wayne's Toronto show tonight will be postponed." His fans know that he doesn't do things halfway and loves to give his audience the best of himself, so he was overjoyed about this one. The venue assured ticket holders that their tickets will be honored at the official rescheduled date, which is expected to be released soon. The cancellation came as a surprise to many fans. Wayne has been delivering energetic performances since kicking off his tour in June with an opening night concert in New York City.
