Big Jon turns action-movie mayhem into catchy anthem with "Reload"

Big Jon's "Reload" revels in the over-the-top world of vigilantes, crime-fighting, and dramatic attempts to clean up the streets. The song follows a character who takes the law into his own hands, drawing on action films and television shows and using well-worn crime-story tropes to build a parody.

"Reload" uses the premise to explore the genre's over-the-top behavior. The hero battles crime and corruption with increasingly forceful methods, creating a story that plays with the action genre's exaggerated logic.
