Conrado Cimino turns the miracle of life into sound on "Afuera"

Conrado Cimino's "Afuera" captures the wonder of new life with an instrumental arrangement that builds from a simple musical idea into a layered track. The song is a personal tribute to his daughter's birth and appears on his 16-track album "Prisma," released through Música Humana.

Produced by Alejandro Staro and Nicolás Camarero, "Afuera" begins with the criolla guitar Cimino uses to write, then slowly adds polyrhythms, woodwinds, cellos, synthesizers, percussion, and electronic elements. The arrangement builds on a two-chord loop, giving it room to expand while still holding onto its core. The result is a meeting place of repetition, texture, and emotional meaning.

Cimino takes a deeply personal milestone and makes it an instrumental expression of the wonder of life in "Afuera." The celebration of fatherhood has a distinctive musical identity, blending organic instrumentation with electronic textures.
