LACOSA's "Far Out" is a voyage of discovery

Delving deeper into the auditory stratosphere, LACOSA takes the next big leap on their musical adventure with their single, "Far Out." Released on July 2, 2024, by Dischi Soviet Studio, this new single represents a milestone for the band from Padua, a stopover in their musical trip.

It's the unknown, and it's always the unknown, and "Far Out" is our escape island on our creative adventure each time we sail off, for whatever reason or purpose we may have. It's that type of song that is surprising and delightful, mixing surprising influences with LACOSA's signature sound. Their most guitar-driven track treats an arsenal of layered electric guitar themes heavily influenced by British styles with dreamy, lush, and reverberating textures. There's such smooth interplay between these melodic threads and this martial, Teutonic drumming here, tension and release.

The vocal harmonization on the song has a cracked and contorted feel, which fits the music bow beautifully. It makes other sounds at moments, but the voice, with more forces among the tools at hand here, carries the piece's emotion, both delicate and intense, contrasting with the neatly patterned, almost ritualistic rhythm section.
