Kelly Ripa recently opened up about her daughter Lola Consuelos's relationship with Cassius Kidston, and according to Ripa, there might be very little distance between the families. In the June 25 episode of her Let's Talk Off Camera podcast, Kelly shared her sentiments about the couple and gave an inside look at the ways their relationship has further connected the Consuelos and Kidston clans.
"I love him," Kelly said, referring to Cassius. "I love his family, we are very close." There was love in her words, and all I felt was warmth and affection for both her daughter's boyfriend and his family. And so, a strong alliance was formed between the two homes. Kelly's optimistic outlook on their relationship demonstrates the value of family dynamics at a time when a new couple is beginning to merge their lives and backgrounds.

Kelly also discussed in the podcast how she continues to have conversations with Cassius' mom, which has helped strengthen the relationship between the former enemies' families. "His mother and I have a lot of conversations about you two," she added, referring to the network that has formed as a result of their shared relationships.
Lola has been relatively passive in sharing information about her romance with Cassius, providing a fascinating glimpse into the couple's history. She spoke of how they initially started on bad terms when they first met up, showing a playful relationship between them. "We met on vacation," Lola remembered. "But we did not like each other when we first met each other." Despite their rough start, Lola thinks their initial spats helped set them up for a strong relationship. "I think the reason we don't find ourselves truly arguing that much is because we kind of got it all out of our systems when we first met each other."
As Kelly Ripa learns to mother three, her wisdom in Lola's relationship with Cassius emphasizes the need for love, communication, and mutual respect in developing relationships. As the two families grow closer, it's not just Lola and Cassius' relationship that's blossoming, but the entire town as well.
